Carnitas Recipe


1 pouch Orrington Farms® Organics Carnitas Seasoning

1 cup water

2 ½ lbs boneless pork shoulder*


Slow Cooker

1MIX contents of pouch with water until completely combined.

2PLACE meat in slow cooker; pour sauce over.

3COVER and COOK on low 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) until meat is tender. Shred and serve.

Pressure Cooker

1Follow slow cooker recipe above, reducing water to 1/2 cup.

2Cook for 1 hour, or as directed by pressure cooker manufacturer.

3Shred and serve.


1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2Mix contents of pouch with water until completely combined.

3Place meat in an ovenproof Dutch oven and pour sauce over.

4Cover and bake for 2 hours or until meat is tender.

5Shred and serve. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.
