2 cups water

1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp Orrington Farms Ham Broth Base

1 3-4 lbs pork butt

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped onions

1 Tbsp. Granulated Garlic

2 ea. 12 oz. cans white hominy


1To make this Mexican posole recipe mix heated water with Orrington Farms Ham Base

2Place meat in slow cooker and cover with sauce

3Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 7 hours until tender

Take large chunks of pork out of the stew and shred them then return to the pot. Add the hominy and transfer pots to reheat to warm.
