Ingredients

1 stick Orrington Farms® Maple Flavored Sausage Seasoning

1 lb ground pork

1 can (21 ounce) apple pie filling

2 medium Granny Smith Apples, peeled, chopped (about 2 cups)

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

1 1/2 cups flour baking mix

1 1/2 cups milk

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

6 eggs

Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9 glass baking dish with cooking spray.

2Combine ground pork and seasoning mix and cook over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces. After draining grease from the meat, allow it to cool slightly.

3Stir in pie filling and apples. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish. Top with 1 cup of the cheese.

4In large bowl, stir flour baking mix, milk, salt, pepper and eggs with wire whisk or fork until blended. Pour evenly over cheese.

5Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

6Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake 3-5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

7Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Tips & Tricks:  for flour baking mix, use Bisquik® mix found in the baking aisle of the grocery store.
